5. Bookings and payments
Bookings can be made online via dedicated forms, by phone or on-site. Prices are displayed in RON and include VAT. Payment can be made online by card (securely processed through Stripe), by bank transfer or in cash on-site, depending on the options displayed for each Service. The booking becomes firm upon confirmation by the ORGANIZER and/or receipt of payment. The specific conditions for each type of Service (booking deadlines, deposit, cancellation policy) are communicated at the time of booking and in the confirmation email.
6. Cancellations and refund policy
General policy: The Services offered (accommodation, activities, events, La Casa lui Mos Craciun) are leisure services supplied on specific dates and times. Under Romanian Emergency Ordinance 34/2014 art. 16 letter l, such services are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to distance contracts. Amounts paid are therefore NOT refunded once payment is confirmed, except in the cases below. Accommodation: At the time of booking, the Client may optionally purchase Cancellation Insurance (50 RON/room), which allows cancellation at least 7 days before the check-in date. In that case the full amount paid for accommodation, meals and other services is refunded, except the insurance premium itself (50 RON/room), which is the price of the cancellation option and is not refunded. The cancellation can be made directly from the booking page, and the amount is returned to the card used for payment within 5 to 10 working days. For cancellations made later than this deadline, the amount paid is not refunded regardless of insurance. Activities and events: Tickets and bookings are NOT refundable once payment is confirmed. For events, the detailed policy (rescheduling, weather, force majeure) is set out in the dedicated Event Terms (/termeni-evenimente). Exceptions - full refund: (a) the ORGANIZER cancels or reschedules a Service and the Client does not accept the new date; (b) dangerous weather making the activity impossible (orange or red warning from the Romanian meteorological service); (c) force majeure under art. 1351 of the Civil Code. In these situations the amount paid is refunded in full within 14 working days. Exceptional requests (serious illness with medical proof, death in the family) should be sent to contact@murani.ro together with the booking confirmation and are assessed case by case; any refund is at the ORGANIZER's discretion.
7. Client rights and obligations. Accommodation rules
The Client has the right to receive the booked Service under the communicated conditions. The Client undertakes to provide accurate data at booking, to respect the conduct rules communicated on-site, not to cause damage to the ORGANIZER's property, and to follow staff instructions regarding activity safety. The following rules apply to accommodation: check-in between 14:00 and 20:00, and check-out by 12:00 on the day of departure. Late check-in (between 20:00 and 24:00) and late check-out (until 15:00) are available for an additional fee of 50 RON/room, subject to availability. We accept pets in our facilities, provided that house rules are respected and the animal is supervised by its owner; any damage caused by the pet shall be borne by the Client.
8. ORGANIZER rights and obligations
The ORGANIZER undertakes to provide the Services at the communicated standards and to address any complaint within a reasonable time. The ORGANIZER reserves the right to refuse access or to cancel a booking if the Client breaches these Terms, displays inappropriate behavior or provides false data.
9. Liability
The ORGANIZER is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Services. Participation in physical activities (tubing, zipline, horse riding, hiking, etc.) is at the User's own risk, in accordance with safety instructions. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The ORGANIZER is not liable for personal items lost or damaged on the estate.
10. Force majeure
The parties are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to force majeure (unforeseeable and insurmountable events: natural disasters, epidemics, decisions of authorities, etc.). In such situations, the ORGANIZER will propose rescheduling or refunding the amounts paid.
